VP STRATEGIC MARKETING
Responsible for the strategic marketing function in the company playing a significant role in shaping the strategic business agenda for growth initiatives, companywide.
Work in collaboration with the C-Suite executives to develop strategic initiatives and formulate the current, entry level, marketing positions to help achieve the company’s strategic goals within agreed timeframes.
Report to Boardroom standards, with output subject to shareholder/investor scrutiny. Work with CEO and Chairman to develop strategic partnerships with the major digital content owners.
Develop channel strategy for Music vertical in a short term to evolve the current music approach into a dominant digital strategy.
Work with key strategic accounts at a senior level of the organization, together with the CEO to develop outward and inward facing business cases supported by analytical assessment of commercial opportunities and market intelligence.
Build strategic marketing function in the business leveraging analyst resources to deliver robust business/commercial proposals for key strategic customers including market valuation data, commercial data, financial data and product insights.
Work closely with other senior executives to develop transformational partnerships with key video content distributors such as YouTube, Facebook, HULU, Teads, Youku etc. Work with Ad Unit Task Force to guide the development of the NIVA Ad Unit with particular focus in securing credible milestones and ultimate industry adoption through standardization.
Take responsibility for the management and implementation of all strategic marketing activities as agreed with C-Suite leadership and CEO. Provide market feedback and market intelligence to other senior leaders in the company regarding competitive offerings and market needs and generate product development ideas particularly in the digital sector supported by reliable market data points. Provide thought leadership to C-Suite team.
Travel to Europe approx. every 2 months for one week. Requires: Management experience in media or related technology business; expertise in development and planning and execution of new & innovative business strategies. Req. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Electronic Business Communication and five years in a marketing related position or will accept a Master’s Degree and one year related experience.
